As we believe that Pizza should be included as one of the major food groups, we tend to eat a lot of it around here. This is the Forage & Foster house crust recipe. As we add different pizzas to our recipe page, this crust will compose most of them.

Servings: 2 pizza's


  • 1 c Warm water

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 1.5 c All purpose flour

  • .75 c Semolina flour

  • 1 tsp Italian herbs


  1. Stir water, yeast and sugar till dissolved. let rest for 3 minutes
  2. Add olive oil salt, and Italian herbs and mix
  3. Incorporate flour and knead for 5 minutes
  4. Let rest and rise for 1 hour.
